Clinical information: 8 cm tumor left ovary and 3 cm tumor of the ileocecal junction. Questionable nodes along inferior vena cava and aortocaval space; uterus fixed. Radical hysterectomy, omentectomy, and right hemicolectomy performed. Gross examination of the colonic specimen showed a 2.5 cm tumor at the base of the appendix. Diagnosis: appendicular adenocarcinoid with ovarian, peritoneal, and nodal metastases.
