Common Diagnostic Suffixes
There are numerous suffixes used with diagnostic terms. Terms using these suffixes will be found in the record of a patient's history and physical examination. An understanding of the meaning of these suffixes will help you abstract the medical records. First take the pretest. A similar test will be given at the end of this learning unit.
