Pathologic Stage
T2 N0 M0 S1 Stage Group IS
T2 (Tumor limited to testis with vascular invasion)
N0 (26 retroperitoneal lymph nodes negative)
M0 (CT/X-Ray negative for metastasis. According to TNM 6th edition, clinical information can be used for the M category if sufficient tissue was removed to evaluate the highest T and highest N categories.)
S1 (LDH < 1.5 X upper limit normal and hCG (mIu/ml) < 5000 and AFP (ng/ml) < 1000) Per page 317 of TNM 6th edition, for staging, measure tumor markers immediately after orchiectomy, and continue serial measurements if elevated.
