Incidence and Mortality
Central Nervous System cancer has ~25,000 new adult CNS cases a year, with around 18,000 deaths. Of those new cases, 85-90% of them are found in the Brain (primary sites C700-C719).
Brain tumors are common for pediatric patients. For children 0-18), there are ~4,300 cases per year.
