Site-Specific Factors Used For Primary Sites & Histology Schemes

SSF are available for all sites, but are only used when necessary to further define the T, N, M or Stage Group. Sites where currently used are (created a table with the following 6 SSFs) all the head and neck sites must be repeated for SSF 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Anterior surface of, anterior tongue, base of tongue, brain, breast, buccal mucosa, colon, epiglottis, ethmoid sinus, floor of mouth, glottic larynx, hard palate, hypopharynx, Kaposi sarcoma, lip, liver, lymphoma, maxillary sinus, melanoma, melanoma/conjunctiva, mycosis fungoides, nasal cavity, nasopharynx, oropharynx, other larynx, other mouth, other pharynx, other salivary glands, ovary, parotid gland, placenta, pleura, prostate, pyriform sinus/no CR, rectosigmoid, rectum, soft palate/uvula, subglottic larynx, submandibular gland, supraglottic larynx, testis, thyroid.
