Mets at Dx Data Items

In addition to coding EOD mets, there are six additional fields that are used to further specify the location of metastatic involvement. The following data items must agree with the EOD Mets code.

• Mets at Dx-Bone [NAACCR # 1112]
• Mets at Dx-Brain [NAACCR # 1113]
• Mets at Dx-Liver [NAACCR # 1115]
• Mets at Dx-Lung [NAACCR # 1116]
• Mets at Dx-Distant Lymph Nodes [NAACCR # 1114]
  • If EOD Mets is coded 20 (distant lymph nodes), then this data should be coded to 1.
• Mets at Dx-Other [NAACCR # 1117]
