Primary Cutaneous Lymphomas
This schema is for primary cutaneous lymphomas, which like Mycosis Fungoides, originate in the skin. Of the histologies listed, 9597 and 9680 are B-cell lymphomas, while the remaining are T-cell lymphomas. Historically these lymphomas have been included in the general lymphoma grouping.
This schema is for select lymphoma histologies that occur within the skin. EOD Primary Tumor, EOD Regional Nodes, and EOD Mets are all coded.
Staging is based on the number of lesions (single, multiple, contiguous, non-contiguous), peripheral lymph node involvement (these are lymph nodes that are located deep in the subcutaneous tissue and can be palpated if they are enlarged due to tumor), and distant lymph nodes, peripheral blood/bone marrow, or extra-cutaneous (not skin) involvement.
There is one SSDI-PTLD. See Lymphoma for further information
